Our Story…

February 11, 2021:

Jordan was wrapping up his Young Turks show on Twitch from his apartment in Washington DC, and he asked his audience for stream recommendations to raid. The chat lit up with one suggestion: “Adiana.”

She was a musician streaming live from Dallas, Texas, playing piano and singing. Intrigued, Jordan and his viewers joined her stream.

Immediately, he was transfixed.

Adiana, already a fan of Jordan's work, excitedly called him out in the chat and offered him a song request. He chose “She Used to Be Mine” by Sara Bareilles—a choice that exposed his tender side. Adiana was touched and happily played it for him, setting the tone for their connection to unfold.

Later that evening, Adiana reached out via Twitter DMs, starting a conversation that would become the first of many. What began with messages soon grew into marathon phone calls, often stretching into the wee hours of the morning.

One evening, while streaming, Adiana improvised a song just for Jordan. She wove lyrics from their private conversations into the melody, delivering a heartfelt confession masked by the music. The audience was none the wiser, but Jordan recognized the message instantly, and in those few minutes, it felt like they were alone together in the same room.

Later that night, as they giggled over the phone about their mutual crushes, Jordan suddenly became serious.

“I just want to know what your intentions are,” he said. He was falling hard and wanted to protect his heart.

Without missing a beat, Adiana responded, “I am going to marry you.”

Their relationship grew as they spent the next few months falling in love over endless phone calls until finally, they got to meet in person in May 2021, when Adiana traveled to DC.

From there, they embarked on a two-year, long-distance journey, accumulating many airline points along the way.

Long distance was difficult, but their bond was too strong to be shaken, and they were determined to be together forever.

In April 2023, while Adi was visiting Jordan in DC, they trekked to the Lincoln Memorial for what she thought was a photoshoot for her mother’s jewelry line. As they prepared to take photos of the jewelry pieces, Adiana’s family popped out from behind a column, and Jordan dropped to one knee.

Today, Adiana and Jordan live together in Los Angeles, along with Beya, their perfect dog and soon-to-be flower girl, and Thana, Jordan’s cat, who enjoys terrorizing Beya and Adiana.

The couple eagerly await the chance to celebrate their wedding day with loved ones, and look forward to beginning a beautiful lifetime together. ♡
